Staff are first aid trained, we have designated health and safety trainers who lead staff through various aspects of H&S as is appropriate to their role. Many members of the team have certificates in areas such as working at heights, lifting and slinging and machinery safety.
Alongside staff training, FCS are committed to ensuring that all work carried out is in the best interests of clients as well as their employees.
Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, customers and the general public in all our activities is crucial to our approach. All our employees are trained to assess the risks in their work and maintain a safe working environment.
Furthermore many of the projects we undertake involve designing safety features into the controls for machines. This requires our engineers to have a very thorough understanding of risk management safety design principles.
For this members of our team have been accredited by the institute of risk management and qualifications in BS EN 60204-1 & BS EN ISO 13849-1
We are increasingly involved in projects which have significant positive environmental impact, including development of control systems for novel wastewater treatment solutions and energy from waste and as a company, protection of the environment is a key value we strongly hold.
